The M2 features revised bodywork compared with the contemporary F22 2-Series including flared wheel arches, a trunk lid spoiler, and aerodynamic front and rear bumper covers. The 19″ Style 788M alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 245/35 up front and 265/35 out back. Adjustable M Performance suspension was installed in November 2021, and braking is handled by M-logo six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers mounted over cross-drilled rotors. The Executive Package added Active Driving Assistant, which included lane-keep assist and pre-collision warning.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable M sport front seats trimmed in black Dakota leather with blue stitching and illuminated M2 backrest badges. Amenities include carbon-fiber trim, Comfort Access, a wireless phone charger, a WiFi hotspot, a Harman Kardon sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an iDrive infotainment system with navigation and Apple CarPlay.
The heated leather-wrapped multifunction M sport steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge.
The twin-turbocharged S55B30 3.0-liter TwinPower inline-six is mounted behind a carbon fiber U-brace. Factory-rated output was 405 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The car is equipped with a dual-branch exhaust system with electronically controlled exhaust valves.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and an Active M limited-slip differential.
The window sticker notes initial delivery to Habberstad BMW in Huntington Station, New York, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $61,645. Service records are also included in the sale.
