The 997 Turbo was distinguished from the contemporary Carrera by a lower front lip spoiler, revised bumper covers, air intakes ahead of the rear wheels, dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers, and a hydraulically-powered rear wing that automatically deploys at speed. This example is finished in GT Silver Metallic, and additional equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, ParkAssist sensors, a rear wiper, and aftermarket clear side-marker lenses. Clear film is applied to the front fascia, and noted flaws include a rock chip on the hood and scuffs on the underside of the front skirt. The Carfax report describes July 2019 damage to the rear end. The seller states the damage occurred in a parking lot and required replacement of the rear bumper.
Factory 19″ alloy wheels wear 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were replaced at 70,500 miles and show 2019 date codes. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Active Suspension Management were standard, and braking is provided by optional yellow Porsche-branded calipers and cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features heated adaptive front sport seats trimmed in Special Cocoa leather along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, Sycamore wood trim, automatic climate control, navigation, and a remote factory CD stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer has 72k miles.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6L Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997 Turbo to overboost for up to ten seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 ft-lb. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle with a manual shifting mode. Work carried out in July 2021 consisted of replacing the front-left outer axle boot and performing an oil change.
