The SSR’s body sits on a modified GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer, and styling was inspired by Chevrolet’s post-war Advance Design trucks. This example is finished in silver and features rear-fender SSR decals, a dual exhaust system with polished finishers, heated side mirrors, fog lights, and a body-color retractable hardtop that folds into a compartment between the cab and the truck bed. Paint chips on forward-facing surfaces are noted.
Silver-finished 19″ front and 20″ rear alloy wheels are fitted with Nexen tires measuring 255/45 and 295/40, respectively. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the truck bed features a carpeted liner and wood slats.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Amenities include silver aLent trim, air conditioning, Homelink, a CD stereo, Bose audio, and embroidered floor mats. The cabin air filter was reportedly replaced in preparation for sale.
A multi-function steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 38k miles.
The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was reportedly carried out in preparation for sale, and an uninstalled set of Dynatech exhaust headers is included in the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
