This 2003 BMW M5 was first delivered to BMW Northwest of Fife, Washington, and it was initially modified under prior ownership. This 2003 BMW M5 was first delivered to BMW Northwest of Fife, Washington, and it was initially modified under prior ownership. Its twin-turbocharged 5.3-liter Vortec V8 is paired with a Tremec T56 Magnum F six-speed manual transmission, and additional modifications include a rebuilt and modified limited-slip differential, a dual 3″ exhaust with stainless-steel boost-actuated cutouts, quad projector headlights, adjustable BC Racing coilover suspension with Swift springs, replacement Caramel leather upholstery, a dashboard-mounted tablet, a custom sound system system, and more as detailed below.
The body is finished in Sterling Gray Metallic and accented by Shadowline trim, and equipment includes EvolutionM quad projector headlights, yellow fog light lenses, and LED ‘angel eye’ and ‘demon eye’ light accents. Tinting has been added to the windows and tail lights. The Carfax lists accidents in 2013 and 2016 with damage reported on the front end both times, and the car was declared a total loss vehicle in 2016 and subsequently issued a salvage title.
Staggered-width 18″ Style 65 wheels are secured with stainless-steel wheel studs and mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires. The braking system features braided stainless-steel hoses and replacement pads, and the car is equipped with adjustable BC Racing coilover shocks with Swift springs as well as camber plates and replacement bushings.
Replacement Caramel leather covers the front and rear seats and door panel inserts, while black leather covers the upper dashboard and the ceiling is lined in Alcantara. Further additions include a dashboard-mounted Microsoft Surface Pro featuring Bluetooth connectivity to the trunk-mounted Alpine digital sound processor, a GFB G-Force II boost controller, and Innovate gauges, and the sound system consists of an Alpine stereo linked to a wireless interface module and the digital sound processor as well as JL Audio subwoofers and Hybrid Audio Technologies speakers.
The multi-function steering wheel frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The odometer indicates 92k miles.
The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 has been rebuilt with Gen-4 pistons and rods, a polished crankshaft, a balanced rotating assembly, and replacement bearings. Engine modifications include:

The stainless-steel exhaust system is equipped with stainless-steel boost-actuated cutouts and 3″ tips. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 Magnum F six-speed manual transmission equipped with a Mantic twin-disc clutch and linked to a two-piece driveshaft and a rebuilt differential modified with a 3.62:1 ring and pinion as well as four clutch discs with 50/50 lockup. Further updates include polyurethane differential mounts and a reinforced rear subframe.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned accidents in 2013 and 2016 and displays history in Washington, Colorado, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Ohio, and Virginia. The car was declared a “Total Loss Vehicle” in April 2016, was issued a title with Salvage and Not Actual Mileage brands in 2016, was issued a title with a Rebuilt brand in 2019 as well as a title with Rebuilt and Not Actual Mileage brands in the same year. The current Virginia title carries a Rebuilt brand, and an open recall associated with the driver’s airbag is listed in 2015.
