This 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe is finished in Zanzibar Red over black full leather and was initially collected via tourist delivery. Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, a sunroof, xenon headlights, chrome-finished 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, Digital Sound Processing, and a Kenwood touchscreen head unit with smartphone connectivity. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six linked with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle.
The car is finished in Zanzibar Red with matching rear bumperettes and features a sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, a rear window wiper, a speed-activated rear spoiler, polished exhaust outlets as well as wider rear bodywork, rear air intakes, and revised bumper covers in comparison to the contemporary Carrera. The spoiler wiring harness was replaced in December 2002 and clear paint protection film was applied to the front section of the nose in October 2005.
The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels were refinished in chrome under prior ownership and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport N3 front and N4 rear tires measuring 225/40 and 295/30, respectively. The seller states that the front tires were installed in 2020 and the rears were mounted in 2022. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an automatic brake differential. Braking is from vented and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Tarrett Engineering rear toe links were installed in November 2019 and spring replacement is noted in a February 2021 service record.
The heated front sport seats have body-color-painted hard seatbacks and are upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. The car was also ordered with a body-color center console and an aluminum-trimmed shifter and handbrake handle. A Kenwood touchscreen head unit with a CD player, satellite radio capability, and smartphone connectivity has been fitted, and amenities also include the Digital Sound Package, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a K40 radar detector. The removed factory PCM infotainment and navigation system and a spare center console trim piece are included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. Aluminum trim rings have been added to the instrument dials. The digital odometer indicates 27k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat-six had a factory rating of 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. The oil was most recently changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle.
The window sticker notes $4,075 tourist delivery and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total price of $145,260. Manufacturer’s literature, spare parts, accessories, and service records dating back to 2001 are also included in the sale.
