The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 76k miles.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS continuously variable valve timing. It was factory rated at 394 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. Work in preparation for the sale has included servicing the VANOS system and replacing the timing chain, timing chain tensioner, timing chain guides, valve cover gaskets, water pump, thermostat, power steering hoses, oil pan gasket, drive belts, drive belt tensioner, engine mounts, oxygen sensor, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission mount, differential mount, and differential seals were replaced in preparation for the sale.
