Additional equipment includes a power sunroof, fog lights, Automatic Slip Control, automatic climate control, heated power-adjustable front seats, and cruise control.
The 500E was assembled by Porsche and featured wheel arch flares, revised bodywork, and a lower ride height when compared to other W124 models. This example is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) and features gray lower cladding. Additional exterior features include European-specification headlights with wipers, integrated fog lights, a retractable antenna, and a power sunroof.
The 18″ Carlsson wheels feature silver centers and polished lips, and they are fitted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires that have 2022 and 2023 date codes. The car is equipped with Automatic Slip Control (ASR), and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. Koni shocks have been added up front as well as H&R springs at all four corners.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in gray leather along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. An aftermarket rearview mirror with integrated front and rear cameras has been fitted, and additional amenities include automatic climate control, a Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, aftermarket speakers, a trunk-mounted JL Audio subwoofer, a Viper alarm system, and cruise control. The headliner has been replaced.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 121k miles.
The 5.0-liter M119 DOHC V8 was factory-rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The air conditioning compressor, evaporator, and expansion valve were reportedly replaced under current ownerhsip in addition to the engine wiring harness, valve cover gaskets, hood insulation, exhaust system, and drive belts.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The transmission fluid was changed in preparation for the sale.
A spare set of 16″ eight-hole alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Premier tires with 2021 date codes will accompany the sale.
