Factory 15” BBS forged wheels wear 205/60 Yokohama Avid Ascend GT tires that were mounted in December 2020. Additional recent work included resurfacing the brake rotors and replacing the brake master cylinder and rear shocks.
The cabin features bolstered seats trimmed in black leather and joined by a matching dash, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM cassette stereo with a CD player, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows just over 5k miles.
The 1.3-liter Wankel 13B rotary engine was rated at 160 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine air filter and fuel pump were replaced in December 2020. The battery was replaced in May 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Wagoner Mazda in Springfield, Illinois, factory equipment, colors, and a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $28,150.
