This 1983 Porsche 911SC coupe is a modified example that spent most of its life in Texas before being acquired by the seller in 2020. Finished in metallic bronze over a black interior, the car is powered by a 3.0L flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Modifications include a roll cage, Wevo shifter and precision shift joint, a TRE Motorsports front bumper and fiberglass rear bumper, a whale-tail spoiler, an Alpine sound system, Recaro seats with harnesses, Rennline track mats and adjustable pedals, RS-style door pulls, LED headlamps, Rennline and Elephant Racing suspension components, and 16″ Fuchs wheels.
Finished from the factory in Hellbronze Metallic, the body was refinished some time ago and features an aftermarket fiberglass rear bumper, a sunroof, a whale-tail rear spoiler, LED headlamps, aftermarket tow hooks, and body-colored side mirrors. A TRE motorsports RSR-style front bumper was installed during current ownership.
Refinished 16″ Fuchs forged wheels feature black centers and anodized lips and are mounted with 205/55 front and 245/45 rear Yokohama A-008P tires. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners, and the car has been fitted with a Rennline triangulated front shock tower brace and monoballs along with Elephant Racing de-cambered ball joints and front spherical control arm bearings. A spare set of brake pads will accompany the car.
Recaro front seats are upholstered in black fabric and fitted with Schroth harnesses. A body-colored roll cage has been added along with an aftermarket stereo with an Alpine CD stereo, amplifier, and speakers. Additional equipment includes an analog clock, a phone mount, an Element solid-state fire extinguisher, a hanger for the steering wheel, a flocked dashboard, RS-style door pulls, and Rennline track mats and adjustable pedals. Air conditioning components were removed during previous ownership, and the seller notes the door threshold carpets have an imperfect fit. A spare quarter trim piece is included in the sale.
A Momo steering wheel fitted with a Rothsport quick-release sits ahead of a 170-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The six-digit odometer shows just over 87k miles.
The air-cooled 3.0L flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels through a 915 five-speed manual transaxle that has been fitted with a Wevo shifter and precision shift joint. The oil and transmission fluid were recently replaced, and corrosion is noted on the battery tray. An uninstalled Rennline engine carrier and adjustable engine mounts are included in the sale.
