This 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was acquired by the seller in 2020 and subsequently refurbished. The body was reportedly refinished in blue with a white top, and the seller reports that the driver’s side rocker was replaced along with the windshield and weather-stripping as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. The cabin features body-color sheetmetal surfaces as well as a split front bench seat and inward-facing rear bench seats that were reportedly reupholstered in gray vinyl under current ownership. Additional equipment includes front seat heaters, air conditioning, a black dash pad, an electric cooler, and all-weather floor mats. The seller states that the front seats have been replaced.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.9–liter inline-six is paired with a three-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and Yukon front and rear locking differentials. The seller reports that the engine has been refurbished and the cylinder head valve seals have been replaced with hardened valve seals. The alternator and electronic ignition have been replaced as well.
