Fiberglass bodywork is finished in white with metallic silver-painted bumpers. Features include a matching white hardtop, a bullet-style driver’s mirror, a center-exit exhaust outlet, and pop-up headlamps.
Steel 13″ wheels wear chrome Lotus-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 145-series Vredestein Sprint tires. Braking is handled by discs at each corner and the car is equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension.
The cabin features black vinyl bucket seats with matching door panels and carpets. A radio delete plate has been added to the wood-veneer dash. Imperfections include wear on the dash and transmission tunnel carpeting, a tear in the driver’s seat, and a missing glove box.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a 10k-rpm tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller notes the electrical system requires work as the gauges are nonfunctional except for the speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 92k miles.
The twin-cam inline-four was reportedly overhauled in 1989 and modified with 85mm Cosworth pistons and rings by SK Engineering of St. Louis, Missouri. Additional details include twin Weber side draft carburetors, a dry sump oil system, an aluminum Tony Thompson Racing radiator with an overflow tank, an electric cooling fan, a stainless steel fuel tank, an air filter mounted in front of the radiator, and a polished exhaust system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
