This 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 is one of approximately 500 North American-Specification station wagon examples imported into the US for the model year and is finished in Alpine White over Ash Gray Houndstooth cloth and vinyl. Equipment includes a roll cage, a roof rack, a front brush guard, a pop-up glass sunroof, auxiliary lights, 16″ five-spoke wheels, and tubular side steps along with air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and inward-facing rear jump seats. Power is provided by a 3.9-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
NAS models were equipped with a roll cage from the factory, and this example features aluminum body panels finished in Alpine White. Additional features include a front brush guard, a roof rack, a pop-up sunroof, checker-plate trim, headlight and taillight protection, a rear ladder, black wheel arch flares, tubular side steps, and auxiliary lights. A rear plaque identifies this truck as #185/500.
Factory 16″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, and a spare is secured to the roof of the truck. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The front bucket seats and rear jump seats are upholstered in Ash Gray Houndstooth cloth and vinyl. Interior amenities include air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a locking center console.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
The 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A steering guard and skid plate are installed.
The window sticker lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total amount of $32,625.
