Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Assurance tires. Two tires were replaced in February 2018. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in beige leather upholstery along with matching door panels and Coco floor mats. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Panasonic stereo, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The window regulators were rebuilt and a window accelerator kit was installed in June 2023.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 280-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. An analog clock and a coolant temperature gauge are mounted ahead of the shifter.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Service in February 2018 involved resealing the engine, performing a valve adjustment, and replacing the water pump as well as various hoses. A timing belt service was performed in June 2023, and additional work at that time included replating the throttle body and intake manifold as well as replacing the spark plugs, and fuel filter. Fuse blocks have been replaced with replacement units from Birdman’s 308 Parts and a hard-wired battery tender has been installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The oil pan and the transmission fluid were replaced in June 2023.
