The 1.8-liter inline-four was factory rated at 110 horsepower and 106 lb-ft of torque when new. To accommodate the higher compression CNG system, Honda fitted upgraded connecting rods, valves, and valve seats from the factory, as well as special fuel injectors and a pressure regulator. Records indicate the fuel filler pipe, receptacle adapter, stem assembly, and multiple O-rings were replaced in September 2021.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed automatic transaxle with Grade Logic Control.
