The car is finished in Colonial White and features a matching removable hardtop in addition to the black convertible top that is depicted above. Features include a hood scoop, front fender vents, chrome bumpers, and rear fender skirts.
Steel 14″ wheels wear polished Ford covers and are mounted with whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with pleated white inserts as well as engine-turned dashboard and door panel accents. Equipment includes a heater/defroster, analog clock, Thunderbird-branded floor mats, red lap belts, and a Town and Country radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a central 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and engine temperature. Aftermarket gauges for oil pressure and amperage are mounted under the dashboard. The seller states that the temperature gauge reads high in hot weather. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles.
The replacement 312ci V8 was sourced from Jasper Engines and installed by Parsch’s Automotive in Imlay City, Michigan in September 2015. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The radiator was re-cored in June 2019.
