This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 was acquired by the seller in May 1992 and has subsequently resided in Washington State. Panasport-style 15″ wheels have Vick Autosports center caps and are mounted with 195/60 Continental ControlContact Tour A/S tires. Recent service is said to have included a brake fluid flush, installing polyurethane suspension bushings, and replacing the upper caster joints and bump stops.
The cabin features seats trimmed in beige cloth with black bolsters. The dashboard and center console have woodgrain accents, and equipment includes a lockable glovebox, footwell storage compartments, and vent windows. Dynamat sound insulation has been installed, and the seller notes cuts in the headliner near the rear windows. A set of uninstalled rear-seat seatbelts is included in the sale.
The wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel frames Jaeger instruments including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles and has reportedly rolled over. Total mileage is unknown. Approximately 30k miles were added under current ownership.
The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four features Crane Cams ignition and a SPICA fuel injection system that is said to have been rebuilt. Service in the last 13k miles reportedly included a valve grind, cleaning the fuel tank and radiator, and replacing the pistons, liners, throttle cable, oil-vapor separator, battery, distributor cap and rotor, fuel pump, fuel lines, and fuel filters. An oil change was recently performed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The clutch fluid was recently changed, and corrosion is noted on underside components.
The sale includes an owner’s manual, workshop manuals, and service records.
