This 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 is finished in blue over gray upholstery and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was previously registered in California and later moved to Illinois, where it was acquired by the seller in 2012. Work since 2020 has included replacement of the clutch components and crank seal as well as fluid changes.
The truck was repainted in its present shade of blue in 2011. Features include headlight washers, aftermarket driving lights, chrome bumpers, mud-flaps, a split tailgate, and a rear window wiper. The Carfax report lists accident damage to the front in September 2019.
Chrome-finished 15″ wheels wear 33 x 10.50″ BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO tires. Manually-locking hubs are equipped up front, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Rust is noted on the wheels, hubs, and lug nuts.
The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in striped gray cloth with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, hand-crank windows, a Tuffy locking center console, a Pioneer CD stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs, and two Kicker subwoofers mounted in the cargo area.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 159k miles.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The clutch components, crank seal, and gearbox oil were replaced in January 2020. An oil change was performed in January 2021.
