This 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 is #434 of 2,030 North American Specification examples imported into the US for the model year and is finished in Portofino Red over a black interior. The truck was first registered in Washington and later sold to the current owner by the selling dealer. Service performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change and a visual inspection.
The exterior is finished in Portofino Red and features a removable black hardtop, an aftermarket front bumper with a Warn winch and driving lamps, black fender flares, LED headlights, an intake snorkel, an aftermarket antenna, and a receiver hitch. The hood has been modified with a patch and a series of rivets. The seller notes that a black soft top is included in the sale.
Factory 16” alloy wheels were recently powder-coated and are mounted with 285/75 Americus Rugged M/T tires that show 2020 date codes. A Bilstein steering stabilizer and shocks are fitted, and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. An additional set of Wolf wheels is included in the sale.
The cabin is trimmed in black vinyl with matching door panels and rubber floor mats. Amenities included a locking center storage box, cup holders, a new cargo cover mat, and a Kenwood head unit. The removed rear seat is included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 289k miles.
The replacement 3.9-liter V8 was rebuilt and installed by Land Rover specialists Ship’s Mechanical Services of Portland, Oregon in 2009. Factory rated output was 182 horsepower and drives the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Service performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change and a visual inspection.
